Flower Lamp

This fully functioning lamp is made with a paper towel holder as a base, three strings of fairy light, 3D printed flowers, wire, foam clay, tape, and paint. I created this lamp through a proces of ideation, sketching, planning, 3D modeling and printing, building, sculpting, and painting.

Sand-shooter

This device shoots sand out of one end when pressurized air is pushed into the end of the attached clear tube, the plastic body gets strapped to the arm and the tube travels up the sleeve. I created this because I was approached with a prompt to create a working sand shooter for a student film called Sand King which I also worked in the Art Department for.

Headphones

Based on analysis of target customer(s), the problem, competitor products, design criteria, primary and secondary positioning matrices, and ideation through mind maps, framing questions, and “what-if” statements we discovered an opportunity in headphones for working out and active lifestyles then designed possible solutions.

Shoes

To make this shoe prototype I began with ideation guided by market research to identify competitor products and evaluate my product against them, I then identified the ideal customer and design criteria. Using this information I created renders of possible designs and colorways in Adobe Illustrator then built a medium fidelity prototype using a last and pattern-making to build a shoe out of styrofoam, foam clay, thin foam sheets, and paint.

Stop-motion Animation Doll

A stop-motion animation puppet I made using a wire frame and clay at SCAD Summer Seminars. I modeled my design off of the colors I see most commonly out in nature, with blues, greens, white, and my favorite color, purple.
